Dr. Carter Lindenfield

Chiropractor

Dr. Carter is another one of our friendly Canadians here at Austin Sports Therapy. He was born and raised in a suburb of Toronto, Canada playing many competitive sports, such as hockey, baseball, football, and lacrosse. His deep passion for athletics allowed him to pursue his degree in Kinesiology at the University of Windsor where he specialized in human performance and recovery. After growing tired of the cold Canadian winters, he decided to pursue his Doctor of Chiropractic at Logan Chiropractic College in St. Louis, Missouri.

After completing his 4 year Chiropractic degree, he ventured down south to Georgetown, Texas in 2019 where he worked for more than 2 years treating the athletic community. During his time there, he had the pleasure of working with Georgetown High School, Leander Wolf Pack, and the Texas Stars. With a desire to move closer to Austin, he is excited to bring his experience and expertise to Austin Sports Therapy.

Dr. Carter has a wide range of treatment techniques to help his patients. He often utilizes Diversified adjustments, Dry Needling, Therapeutic Cupping, Active Release Techniques (ART), Fascial Distortion Model (FDM), Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM), and Kinesiotaping. He also has a strong passion for creating rehabilitation protocols for certain sports injuries.  Lastly, Dr. Carter takes pride in being an evidence-based chiropractor, staying up-to-date with the latest research and literature in sports chiropractic.

In his free time, Dr. Carter enjoys golfing, crossfit, and cheering on his Canadian sports teams. He loves to travel and is excited to continue to explore everything Austin has to offer.
