Welcome Dr. Rachel Benson


Dr. Rachel Benson was born and raised in Austin, Texas. After graduating from Westlake high school, she continued on to receive her bachelors of science from Texas A&M University. Dr. Benson received her doctorate from Los Angeles Chiropractic College focusing on sports medicine.

While in school Dr. Benson studied Functional Movement Screening, Cox flexion distraction, Thompson drop and athletic taping. She specializes in Diversified spinal and extremity adjusting and is certified in Active Release Technique and Graston. Dr. Benson uses her love for sports in conjunction with her passion to help athletes in order to bring individualized first-class care to each of her patients.

Dr. Benson became interested in sports medicine and treatment of athletes as a lacrosse player and as an athletic trainer. In middle school she played with the high school team, and she continued to play lacrosse at the collegiate level. Dr. Benson has been an athletic trainer since high school, where she trained for football, soccer and baseball.

Before moving back to Austin Dr. Benson continued to involve herself in intramurals, allowing her to even greater exposure to athletes and their. Her internships in chiropractic school allowed her to work on the sidelines of high school football games along with working in multiple sports offices and collegiate athletic departments such as Mt. San Antonio College and El Camino College in southern California.

When Dr. Benson is not in the office treating patients she enjoys being active working out at the gym, running, playing post-collegiate lacrosse and hiking.

Dr. Tommer Arbuckle received his doctorate from Palmer College of Chiropractic West in San Jose, CA, and continued his post-graduate education to become a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician. Dr. Arbuckle strives to maintain integrity, passion, and commitment with each patient he works with, allowing them to achieve their goals of optimal performance; he has committed himself to maintain a standard of care that utilizes the most up-to-date and effective techniques.
