New AST Team Member

We’d like to introduce you to Laura

Laura joined the AST team in January and brings almost 13 years of clinical management experience with her from AOMA Graduate School of Integrative Medicine. During her time at AOMA Laura worked to help the school achieve and maintain regional and national accreditation and assisted in the rollout of the first professional doctorate program for acupuncturists. She developed ongoing partnerships with the Seton Healthcare Family, Austin Pain Associates, and the People’s Community Clinic. Laura is eager to help create additional collaborations for the AST family as she continues to work to meet patient and provider needs.

Laura moved to Austin in 1995. She is an avid professional disc golfer and tournament director hosting disc golf tournaments and fund raisers benefitting the R.O.C.K. Ride on Center for Kids and Love-A-Bull. She participates as a board member with the local area ladies disc golf group Women Throwing Frisbees and is one of the contributing members of the Professional Disc Golf Associations Women’s Committee. She is also an active participant with Ruff Tail Runners working to offer socialization and exposure to dogs of all breeds along the Town Lake Hike & Bike Trail from Austin Pet’s Alive.

Dr. Tommer Arbuckle received his doctorate from Palmer College of Chiropractic West in San Jose, CA, and continued his post-graduate education to become a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician. Dr. Arbuckle strives to maintain integrity, passion, and commitment with each patient he works with, allowing them to achieve their goals of optimal performance; he has committed himself to maintain a standard of care that utilizes the most up-to-date and effective techniques.
